How do you report hours that vary week to week? - 12 months and counting

I picked up part-time shifts as a hotel front-desk agent and I am confused about how to report them. I am in Jacksonville, in case local advice matters. Pay posts on a different day from when I work. Who can I ask without risking my claim?

Report honestly and keep your stubs. An honest small error is much easier to fix than a missing report.
