Health insurance gap after a layoff (update)

I have 8 weeks left on my current insurance and I am comparing options. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I do not want a gap in coverage.

Compare the monthly price with the deductible. A cheap plan with a huge deductible can cost more if you need care.
