Health insurance gap after a layoff - first time posting

My employer coverage ended at the end of the month and I am trying to work out what to do as a marketing coordinator. It has been a long 14 weeks. I do not want a gap in coverage. What did you choose and how was the process?

Compare the monthly price with the deductible. A cheap plan with a huge deductible can cost more if you need care.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 5 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
