Health insurance gap after a layoff - first time posting

My employer coverage ended at the end of the month and I am trying to work out what to do as a recruiter. I do not want a gap in coverage. What did you choose and how was the process?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

Call your pharmacy too. Mine knew of a discount card that helped while coverage was being sorted out.
