Health insurance gap after a layoff - first time posting

I have 6 weeks left on my current insurance and I am comparing options. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I do not want a gap in coverage. How fast did coverage start?

Compare the monthly price with the deductible. A cheap plan with a huge deductible can cost more if you need care.
