Health insurance gap after a layoff

I have 6 weeks left on my current insurance and I am comparing options. I worked as a janitorial supervisor before this. I do not want a gap in coverage. What did you choose and how was the process?

Compare the monthly price with the deductible. A cheap plan with a huge deductible can cost more if you need care.
