Health insurance gap after a layoff - any advice?

I have 11 weeks left on my current insurance and I am comparing options. I am in Albuquerque, in case local advice matters. The COBRA notice arrived with a very high price.

Compare the monthly price with the deductible. A cheap plan with a huge deductible can cost more if you need care.
