Health insurance gap after a layoff - any advice?

I have 8 weeks left on my current insurance and I am comparing options. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I do not want a gap in coverage.

Compare the monthly price with the deductible. A cheap plan with a huge deductible can cost more if you need care.
