Health insurance gap after a layoff - 9 months and counting

My employer coverage ended at the end of the month and I am trying to work out what to do as a pharmacy technician. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I do not want a gap in coverage. What did you choose and how was the process?

Call your pharmacy too. Mine knew of a discount card that helped while coverage was being sorted out.
