Health insurance gap after a layoff - 8 months and counting

My employer coverage ended at the end of the month and I am trying to work out what to do as a paralegal. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I think my income this year might qualify for a subsidy. What did you choose and how was the process?

Compare the monthly price with the deductible. A cheap plan with a huge deductible can cost more if you need care.
