Health insurance gap after a layoff - 2 months and counting

My employer coverage ended at the end of the month and I am trying to work out what to do as a home health aide. It has been a long 22 weeks. I do not want a gap in coverage. What did you choose and how was the process?

Compare the monthly price with the deductible. A cheap plan with a huge deductible can cost more if you need care.

Call your pharmacy too. Mine knew of a discount card that helped while coverage was being sorted out.
