Health insurance gap after a layoff - 13 months and counting

My employer coverage ended at the end of the month and I am trying to work out what to do as a paralegal. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I think my income this year might qualify for a subsidy. Is there help filling out the forms?

Call your pharmacy too. Mine knew of a discount card that helped while coverage was being sorted out.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
