Health coverage after losing my job: marketplace or Medicaid? - what worked for you?

I have 8 weeks left on my current insurance and I am comparing options. Any experience at all would help. I think my income this year might qualify for a subsidy. How fast did coverage start?

Compare the monthly price with the deductible. A cheap plan with a huge deductible can cost more if you need care.
