Health coverage after losing my job: marketplace or Medicaid? (Raleigh)

My employer coverage ended at the end of the month and I am trying to work out what to do as a paralegal. I am in Raleigh, in case local advice matters. I think my income this year might qualify for a subsidy. How fast did coverage start?

Compare the monthly price with the deductible. A cheap plan with a huge deductible can cost more if you need care.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
