Health coverage after losing my job: marketplace or Medicaid? (Honolulu)

My employer coverage ended at the end of the month and I am trying to work out what to do as an event coordinator. Any experience at all would help. I do not want a gap in coverage. What did you choose and how was the process?

Call your pharmacy too. Mine knew of a discount card that helped while coverage was being sorted out.
