Health coverage after losing my job: marketplace or Medicaid?

My family's coverage ended with the layoff and we have a prescription we cannot skip. There are 10 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I think my income this year might qualify for a subsidy. What did you choose and how was the process?
