Health coverage after losing my job: marketplace or Medicaid? - any advice?

My family's coverage ended with the layoff and we have a prescription we cannot skip. I worked as an insurance claims processor before this. I do not want a gap in coverage. What did you choose and how was the process?

Compare the monthly price with the deductible. A cheap plan with a huge deductible can cost more if you need care.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
