Got severance, how does it affect benefits?, janitorial supervisor here

I signed a severance agreement and I am worried about how to report it. There are 9 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The agreement mentions a release and a payment schedule. How did your state treat it?

I filed on day one anyway and reported the severance honestly. The agency decided what to do about the timing.
