Got severance, how does it affect benefits? after 9 years as a nurse's aide

I signed a severance agreement and I am worried about how to report it. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I also wonder about the job-search requirement. Did you file straight away?

I filed on day one anyway and reported the severance honestly. The agency decided what to do about the timing.
