Got severance, how does it affect benefits? after 6 years as a recruiter

I signed a severance agreement and I am worried about how to report it. Any experience at all would help. I also wonder about the job-search requirement. How did your state treat it?

I filed on day one anyway and reported the severance honestly. The agency decided what to do about the timing.
