Got severance, how does it affect benefits? after 10 years as a project coordinator

I signed a severance agreement and I am worried about how to report it. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I also wonder about the job-search requirement. How did your state treat it?

I filed on day one anyway and reported the severance honestly. The agency decided what to do about the timing.
