Got severance, how does it affect benefits? - 10 months and counting

I signed a severance agreement and I am worried about how to report it. It has been a long 17 weeks. I also wonder about the job-search requirement. How did your state treat it?

Some states only count certain kinds of severance. A local workforce centre could tell me which.
