Got an overpayment notice, what now? after 13 years as a sales associate

After 16 weeks of benefits I got a notice saying I must repay some of it. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I did not notice any errors at the time. Who should I talk to first?

Read the letter for the appeal deadline and act on it, even if you think you will end up repaying. Then ask about a payment plan.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 4 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
