Got a denial letter for unemployment, what now? - what worked for you?

I was told my separation was for misconduct, which is not what happened. Thank you in advance. The letter lists a deadline and a hearing process, but it is hard to follow. Did you bring documents or only talk?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 9 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
