Got a denial letter for unemployment, what now? - 4 months and counting

My claim was denied after 4 weeks of waiting, and the letter says I have a short window to appeal. It has been a long 4 weeks. My employer's version of events does not match mine, and I have emails that show it. Should I ask someone for free legal help?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
