First unemployment deposit is late, what should I check? - what worked for you?

I applied for unemployment in Chicago 9 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. The page shows my claim as open but no payment date. Has anyone been through this? How long did it take in the end?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Mine took about 9 weeks because of an identity check I did not notice. Look for a message or a letter you may have missed in your online account.
