First unemployment deposit is late, what should I check? - what worked for you?

I applied for unemployment in Nashville 19 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. I am in Nashville, in case local advice matters. The page shows my claim as open but no payment date. Is there a step I could have missed?

Check the messages section of your claim, not just the dashboard. That is where my request for more information was hiding.
