First unemployment deposit is late, what should I check? (update)

I applied for unemployment in Baltimore 25 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I called the state line four times and only reached a recording. Is there a step I could have missed?

Check the messages section of your claim, not just the dashboard. That is where my request for more information was hiding.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 7 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
