First unemployment deposit is late, what should I check? (update)

I filed my claim 8 weeks ago after being let go as a data-entry clerk. It has been a long 8 weeks. The page shows my claim as open but no payment date. Has anyone been through this? How long did it take in the end?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 5 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
