First unemployment deposit is late, what should I check? (update)

I applied for unemployment in Salt Lake City 8 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I called the state line four times and only reached a recording. Is there a step I could have missed?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 3 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Keep certifying every week even while you wait. If they find you eligible, the weeks you certified are the ones that count.
