First unemployment deposit is late, what should I check?, recruiter here

I applied for unemployment in Salt Lake City 17 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. The page shows my claim as open but no payment date. Is there a step I could have missed?

Keep certifying every week even while you wait. If they find you eligible, the weeks you certified are the ones that count.
