First unemployment deposit is late, what should I check? (Kansas City)

I applied for unemployment in Kansas City 21 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. I am in Kansas City, in case local advice matters. I answered every question and uploaded my final pay stub. Is there a step I could have missed?

Check the messages section of your claim, not just the dashboard. That is where my request for more information was hiding.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
