First unemployment deposit is late, what should I check? - first time posting

I applied for unemployment in St. Louis 26 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. There are 15 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I called the state line four times and only reached a recording. Has anyone been through this? How long did it take in the end?

Mine took about 26 weeks because of an identity check I did not notice. Look for a message or a letter you may have missed in your online account.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 10 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
