First unemployment deposit is late, what should I check? - first time posting

I filed my claim 12 weeks ago after being let go as a medical assistant. I worked as a medical assistant before this. The page shows my claim as open but no payment date. What would you check first?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 2 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

When I finally got through, the agent said my employer had responded late. Once that cleared, back pay came in one payment.
