First unemployment deposit is late, what should I check? - first time posting

I applied for unemployment in Knoxville 17 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. There are 7 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The page shows my claim as open but no payment date. Is there a step I could have missed?

Check the messages section of your claim, not just the dashboard. That is where my request for more information was hiding.

Mine took about 17 weeks because of an identity check I did not notice. Look for a message or a letter you may have missed in your online account.
