First unemployment deposit is late, what should I check? - first time posting

I applied for unemployment in Birmingham 18 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I called the state line four times and only reached a recording.

Check the messages section of your claim, not just the dashboard. That is where my request for more information was hiding.
