First unemployment deposit is late, what should I check?

I applied for unemployment in Dallas 19 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I called the state line four times and only reached a recording.

Mine took about 19 weeks because of an identity check I did not notice. Look for a message or a letter you may have missed in your online account.

Check the messages section of your claim, not just the dashboard. That is where my request for more information was hiding.
