First unemployment deposit is late, what should I check?

I was laid off as an office manager and filed right away, and I have been certifying every week. It has been a long 5 weeks. I answered every question and uploaded my final pay stub. What would you check first?

When I finally got through, the agent said my employer had responded late. Once that cleared, back pay came in one payment.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
