First unemployment deposit is late, what should I check? after 8 years as a machine operator

I applied for unemployment in Richmond 8 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. I am in Richmond, in case local advice matters. I answered every question and uploaded my final pay stub. What would you check first?

Check the messages section of your claim, not just the dashboard. That is where my request for more information was hiding.
