First unemployment deposit is late, what should I check? after 18 years as a sales associate

I filed my claim 24 weeks ago after being let go as a sales associate. I called the state line four times and only reached a recording. Has anyone been through this? How long did it take in the end?

Keep certifying every week even while you wait. If they find you eligible, the weeks you certified are the ones that count.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 4 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
