First unemployment deposit is late, what should I check? after 17 years as an operations analyst

I applied for unemployment in Detroit 6 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. It has been a long 6 weeks. I called the state line four times and only reached a recording. Is there a step I could have missed?

Check the messages section of your claim, not just the dashboard. That is where my request for more information was hiding.
