First unemployment deposit is late, what should I check? - 8 weeks in

I applied for unemployment in Salt Lake City 8 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I called the state line four times and only reached a recording. What would you check first?

Check the messages section of your claim, not just the dashboard. That is where my request for more information was hiding.
