First unemployment deposit is late, what should I check? - 8 months and counting

I applied for unemployment in Boston 8 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. I called the state line four times and only reached a recording. What would you check first?

Keep certifying every week even while you wait. If they find you eligible, the weeks you certified are the ones that count.

Mine took about 8 weeks because of an identity check I did not notice. Look for a message or a letter you may have missed in your online account.
