First unemployment deposit is late, what should I check? - 8 months and counting

I was laid off as a dental hygienist and filed right away, and I have been certifying every week. The page shows my claim as open but no payment date. What would you check first?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
