First unemployment deposit is late, what should I check?

I applied for unemployment in Spokane 22 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. There are 4 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The page shows my claim as open but no payment date. What would you check first?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

Check the messages section of your claim, not just the dashboard. That is where my request for more information was hiding.
