First unemployment deposit is late, what should I check? - 6 months and counting

I was laid off as an electrician's helper and filed right away, and I have been certifying every week. I worked as an electrician's helper before this. The page shows my claim as open but no payment date. What would you check first?

Mine took about 19 weeks because of an identity check I did not notice. Look for a message or a letter you may have missed in your online account.

Check the messages section of your claim, not just the dashboard. That is where my request for more information was hiding.
