First unemployment deposit is late, what should I check?

I was laid off as a welding apprentice and filed right away, and I have been certifying every week. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I called the state line four times and only reached a recording. What would you check first?

Check the messages section of your claim, not just the dashboard. That is where my request for more information was hiding.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 8 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
