First unemployment deposit is late, what should I check? - 11 months and counting

I applied for unemployment in Kansas City 25 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. There are 6 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I called the state line four times and only reached a recording. What would you check first?

Keep certifying every week even while you wait. If they find you eligible, the weeks you certified are the ones that count.
