First unemployment deposit is late, what should I check?

I applied for unemployment in Madison 5 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. I have been trying to stay organised about it. The page shows my claim as open but no payment date.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
