Does severance delay my unemployment claim?, mechanic here

I signed a severance agreement and I am worried about how to report it. I am in Boise, in case local advice matters. I have a mortgage and need to plan. How did your state treat it?

I filed on day one anyway and reported the severance honestly. The agency decided what to do about the timing.
